The development of products for home´s decoration and lines specialized for the industry happened in a gradual way, more in agreement with the economic growth of the country that favored the reactivation of the level of goods, the capacity of implementation and the know-how of the professionals.

In the last few years, the electro-electronic industry - motors, generators, transformers, power distribution and control equipment, cables, primary batteries, industrial electronics, telecommunications, lamps and lighting equipment, have experienced noticeable changes in relation to the specialization of processes, safety and technology. Argentina has adjusted to them with the purpose of meeting those requirements both in the local and international markets.

This industry currently comprises over 3,200 companies with a turnover last year that amounted to AR$37 billion. This volume equals 3% of the whole sales figures of the domestic economy. This industry also has 38,000 direct jobs, i.e.: 3.1% of industrial jobs. 90% of the organizations in this industry are SMEs.

Moreover, products manufactured in Argentina follow international technical and quality standards. That is why our country exports to 60 countries on the 5 continents, mainly Brazil, Chile and the United States. Exports amounted to US$840 million, approximately, in the last year.

At the moment, our country count on a set of companies, whose greater part is associate to CADIEEL, Argentine Chamber of Electronic, Electro mechanic, Lighting, Telecommunication, Informatics and Automatic Control Companies, with high technological capacity that provides a complete cover in all the fields of the electrical, electronic and lighting industry.
